Into This World - 31.12.1999

The collage series Into This World – 31.12.1999 was created on the final day of the last millennium. As an artistic time marker, the series distills the chaos and contradictions of the 20th century into compact visual compositions. These works became a conceptual and visual foundation for many of Jedig’s later series.

Through layered fragments, found imagery and a restrained yet expressive use of color and space, the works balance between critique and reflection. They function as a rupture and a beginning — a threshold where history ends and a new artistic vocabulary begins.
